Tantus Technologies, Inc. (Tantus) has recently won two awards under the 8(a) STARS II program through the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA).
8(a) STARS II is a five-year, $10 billion program prequalifying and selecting firms who meet stringent criteria including competitive pricing, technical proficiency, and industry credentials. The program is designed to deliver a streamlined acquisition process for Federal agencies seeking information technology (IT) equipment or services.
The program consists of two tiers, known as constellations, each with four functional areas across computer programming, systems design, facilities management and other computer-related services.
This award is a $10 billion, 10 year government wide IT contract that is designed to promote 8(a) socioeconomic business utilization while purchasing information technology (IT) services or IT service-based solutions for the Federal government.
Tantus was awarded two contracts; one as prime under Constellation I and as part of the Tantus|OnPoint Joint Venture under Constellation II.
In response to these wins, Mr. Buck Keswani, President and CEO of Tantus stated, “Tantus is thrilled for the opportunity to leverage our 8(a) status to provide cost effective, high quality IT solutions. These contracts complete a portfolio of vehicles that help us offer value to our customers, while staying responsive to their changing needs.”
