The Tantus Foundation: Making a Difference the Tantus Way

Already a trailblazer in the IT world, Tantus Technologies, Inc. (Tantus) is becoming a leader in its community. Tantus’ corporate philanthropy initiative, the Tantus Foundation, reflects the company’s core values and business interests, with a focus on health and human services, community outreach, and volunteerism. The success and commitment of the Foundation stem from Tantus’ corporate values of ‘taking care of each other’ and ‘doing the right thing.’ 

For the third consecutive year, The Tantus Foundation selected The Children’s Inn at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), in Bethesda, MD as its primary focus for volunteer and fundraising efforts. During the holiday season, Tantus kicked off their “Change is for Children” fundraiser, which helped support Thoughtful Treasures and other various programs for the families currently residing at The Inn. Tantus also sponsored a Mexican food-themed family dinner, which fed about 65 children and their families. The dinner allowed families to relax, reconnect, and focus on being a family in a home away from home.

“Taking care of a chronically ill child is one of the most difficult tasks a parent can face,” says Buck Keswani, Tantus’ Chief Executive Officer.  “The Inn plays a significant role in caring for the emotional needs of children seeking treatment at NIH.   It is our honor to support The Children’s Inn in their mission to keep children together with their families during serious illness, reduce their stress, and facilitate healing through mutual support.”

Following the great work the Tantus Foundation has already done in 2011, Tantus is looking forward to expanding its Community Outreach Program to incorporate more volunteer efforts and fundraisers for 2012.
