Release Train Engineer (RTE)

Requirements: Education/special skills/certifications

  • 7-10 years of experience in the IT field with 3-5 years of experience as a RTE, Scrum Master, Product Owner, or Agile Project/Program Manager.
  • Strong technical aptitude and experience leading teams in delivering quality software.
  • Experience applying Lean Thinking in large organizations.
  • Experience working in an Agile organization using Scrum, XP, Kanban, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), or other scaling model is highly preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study (Design, Interactive Design, or Computer Science).
  • At least 5 years of professional UX/UI design experience, Enterprise or business application experience strongly preferred.

Senior UX Designer

Clinical Director – Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS)

Requirements: Education/special skills/certifications

  • MD/DO with a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in the healthcare quality field.
  • Experience applying innovation and improved processes when developing clinical quality measures (CQM).
  • Experience developing, revising, and/or maintaining assessment instrument data items, data collection vehicles, and performance measures.
  • Experience providing quality measurement program support activities such as public reporting and analytical support.
  • Knowledge and experience with The Blueprint for the CMS Measures Management System.
  • Experience using the National Quality Strategy (NQS) to drive improvements in patient outcomes and experience with the health care system.

Principal Investigator – CMS

Requirements: Education/special skills/certifications

  • MD/DO preferred, though a PhD and Master’s level degree in healthcare would be considered with a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in the healthcare quality field.
  • Experience developing, endorsing, and maintaining performance measures and convening multi-stakeholder groups.
  • Familiarity with CMS quality programs and their implementations.
  • Experience with federally-funded national studies on topics related to health outcomes, health care costs and utilization, and quality.
  • Working knowledge of CMS claims, patient assessment, and/or survey data.
  • Knowledge and experience with The Blueprint for the CMS Measures Management System.
  • Experience with measure and patient assessment instrument development, the IT development life cycle pertaining to data collection item set development, Paperwork Reduction Act (PRA) submission, policy-based decisions, public engagement, and the pre-rule-making process required under Section 1890(A) of the Social Security Act.
  • Deep understanding and expertise in the development and implementation of measurement in quality and safety of health care, including eMeasures, and the use of measures in public reporting, value based purchasing, and quality improvement.
  • Understanding of the forces, trends, and issues in healthcare quality affecting consumers, employers, payers, and providers.
  • Experience with Assessment instruments, e.g., data collection vehicles or standardized data item sets (for example: the Long-term Care Hospital (LTCH) Continuity Assessment Record (CARE) Data Set; the Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility Patient Assessment Instrument (IRF-PAI); the Outcome and Assessment Information Set (OASIS); the Minimum Data Set (MDS), and the Continuity Assessment Record and Evaluation (CARE) for multiple providers).

Deputy Program Director
