Information Systems Security Officer

Requirements: Education/special skills/certifications

  • B.S. degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Information Assurance, or comparable field.
  • 5+ years’ experience as an ISSO or ISSM.
  • Demonstrated 5 years of experience in Federal IT security.
  • Understanding of security requirements in a non-classified environment.
  • Familiarity with IT security products (hardware, software, and services), technologies, protocols, and best practices.
